Once we got “Molly” we wanted a companion for her and along came “Jasper”.
We originally lived in The Chilterns but decided to relocate
to the Isle of Wight for the way of life and microclimate.

As parents of two young children we were looking for
a family pet for them to grow up with, the children were
3 and 4 at the time.

After researching many different breeds of dog, to suit our
lifestyle, we decided upon the Beagle. We did not realise it
would take a further 18 months to find the right one for us!
With much deliberating we thought it would be lovely for
Molly to experience a litter of puppies, which started our
passion for breeding Beagles. We joined the Kennel Club
Accredited Breeder Scheme because we wanted to breed
responsibly even though we have very  few litters a year.

Only mum’s and dad’s who are old enough and at their
very best condition are chosen to have a litter of pups.

All of our retired mum’s to date, have each had three litters of pups, whereby they could have
had six or even seven.

When we decide to retire our mum’s they are not too old to have any more litters, they are
young enough to enjoy their retirement. They remain our family pets for the duration of their
lifetime.
